Asian Sesame + Ginger Dressing

Recipe:

GINGER, SESAME
+ SOY DRESSING

PLANT-BASED | GLUTEN FREE

Total time: 15mins
Serves: 6-8 portions

This has been our go-to Asian-style dressing recipe for years now, and is just at home drizzled over sweet potato mash and protein as it is in a fresh rice noodle salad. It’s super quick to make, doesn’t need any fancy ingredients and keeps well in the fridge to use throughout the week.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6cm knob ginger

  • 2 tsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup sesame oil

  • 4 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Optional: take out 2tbsp of tamari and replace with white miso paste paste to make it creamy

METHOD

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

or if you don't have a blender…

  • Finely grate the ginger then mix all the ingredients together with a fork, until fully combined

Storage: this dressing will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, so we recommend making a big batch to see you through the week!
