Braised Red Cabbage

Recipe:

BRAISED RED CABBAGE
Serves 4-6 as a side

INGREDIENTS

1 red cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 apple
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup water

METHOD

1. Add everything to a large pot and bring to a simmer over a medium heat.

2. Cover with a lid, lower the heat and cook for 1.5 hours, stirring every so often.
